We would like to advise that upon conclusion of the active process of creditor claim processing and in order to optimize operating costs, as of January 1, 2023, ABLV Bank, AS in liquidation (hereinafter – Company) shall maintain official communication only in Latvian.

Communication and distribution of information will continue via the following channels:

  • the website www.ablv.com;
  • internet bank ib.ablv.com;
  • automatically generated reports and statements;
  • references or letters issued to clients/creditors.

As of January 1, 2023, the information on the mentioned channels will be available only in Latvian; also, the Russian and English versions of normative documents will be cancelled, including the General Terms of Liquidation, General Terms of Business, Rates and Charges, and Application forms.

In accordance with the Company’s General Terms of Liquidation and General Terms of Business, you still have the right to send us your messages in three languages – Latvian, Russian and English. Also in the daily communication, e.g. telephone conversations, you may speak in your preferred language and we shall respond in a language that is convenient for you. However, written responses to your notifications received in Russian or English, as well as other official written information shall be provided in one language – Latvian. If required, we will be able to ensure the translation of this information to Russian or English in accordance with the Company’s Rates and Charges.

Therefore, we shall stop sending messages in Russian and English in the Internet bank; however, the interface of the Internet bank will still be maintained in two languages – Latvian and English. It should also be mentioned that at the beginning of 2023, the system for generating reports and statements is planned to be changed, resulting in it supporting only the Latvian language.
