July 1, 2004 / Banking

Aizkraukles Banka today is opening its first client service centre in Jurmala. It will be located at Lienes iela 7 in the town of Majori, which is at the very heart of Jurmala.

Business class services

Clients who visit the centre will have access to rapid and convenient business class services. Companies will be offered billing, loan, deposit and payment card services. For private individuals, this will be another location at which the competent specialists of Aizkraukles Banka will offer the bank’s primary product — mortgage loans.

Great growth opportunities for Jurmala

"Jurmala is one of the most promising regions in Latvia for the real estate market. The centre will allow business clients in and around Jurmala to take advantage of all of the banking operations that were previously not available," said the deputy director of the Aizkraukles Banka Client Services Department, Aivars Rauska.

Majori — the historical centre of Jurmala

Majori is located 24 kilometres from Riga. When a railroad was opened in 1877, Majori began to become a major centre for leisure, entertainment and business in the larger city of Jurmala. The client service centre "Jurmala" is being opened in a newly renovated building which used to house a post office. The "house with a little tower" stands opposite the Majori train station and has always been readily visible to people who drive or walk along Lienes iela — the primary street in Jurmala. Neglected for years, the building has now taken on a new appearance. It has become a building of offices and flats, and the Aizkraukles Banka client service centre is on the ground floor.

Aizkraukles Banka — a leading bank in mortgage lending

Aizkraukles Banka is one of Latvia’s leading banks in the area of mortgage lending.
