A loan centre for private individuals, "Briviba", has begun its operations.

Aizkraukles Banka has opened a specialised loan centre for private individuals. Called "Briviba", it is located at Brivibas Street 40 in Riga, opposite the Reval Hotel Latvia.

The centre will also be available on Saturdays.

Clients who visit the new centre will have access to all loan-related services. They’ll be able to receive free consultations not only related to loan issues, but also in choosing people to assess the value of real estate, as well as other issues. Real estate insurance will also be available at the loan centre. Unlike the other Aizkraukles Banka client service facilities, the new loan centre "Briviba" will be open on Saturdays, from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. On weekdays, it will be open from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM.

«The need for the new loan centre became evident because there is increased demand for loans from our bank. Of course, our bank’s long term strategy involves specialising in the area of loans. The efficiency of such centres has been demonstrated by our other specialised loan centres,» says Aivars Rauska, deputy director of the Client Services Department of Aizkraukles Banka.

The number of loan centres will increase.

Another loan centre for private individuals will be opened this year in the city centre of Riga, at Marijas Street 13. Client service centres are also to be opened on Anninmuizas Boulevard, as well as in the Plavnieki, Kengarags and Pardaugava neighbourhoods of Riga. Today clients already have access to the bank’s services at 10 different locations — the client service centres "Purvciems", "Imanta", "Ratslaukums", "Vairogs" and "Jurmala", the private loan centres "Elizabete", "Domina" and "Briviba", and the central client service facility of the bank at Elizabetes Street 23 in Riga, as well as the bank’s branch in Aizkraukle.

Aizkraukles Banka is one of Latvia’s leading banks in the area of mortgage loans. According to the Latvian Association of Commercial Banks, Aizkraukles Banka was second among all Latvian banks in terms of new mortgage loans that were issued to private individuals in the first quarter of this year. The overall loan portfolio of the bank in the first four months of the year increased by 35.6% to Ls 89.86 million. The volume of mortgage loans issued to private individuals increased by Ls 11.6 million to a total of Ls 33.7 million. The bank’s audited profits in the first three months of the year amounted to Ls 2,229,921.
